Edwardian Ball 2012

One of the glorious perks of being a costume designer is researching inspiration. Some times we look online, some times we go through magazines. Some times we go to movies or conventions. And other times we get to do this:

Needless to say I spent half my evening drooling, the other half of it squealing, all whilst taking photos of everyone and anyone who crossed my path. The Bellasco Theatre was an amazing architectural delight, and the performances were inspiring. 'Twas a magical night indeed.

I've been perusing the internet aisles in the spirit of convenient holiday shopping and one site always seems to catch my eye with its endless array of handmade trinkets, baubles, and fineries: Etsy.
So, I've compiled a small list of some of my favorite items for you to ogle in wonder. Enjoy my pretties!

Wearing your Rubber Ducky PJs under a large coat, hair dishelved, teeth unbrushed, wearing sock monkey slippers, you dump the goods behind the hordes of shitty beer: 2 bottles of wine, toilet paper, and cat food. Yeah, that's right, you're a crazy cat lady.
